Alma & Mike Loveland, Caravan Shoppe
Alma and Mike are an artist team with the vision that artwork can bring life and happiness into a home. Inspired by their two young children, they create printable art and toys for their online store, Caravan Shoppe. In 2013, they launched a toy brand, Attatoy which they look forward to building over the coming years. Alma teaches a variety of Illustrator and design classes at Nicoles Classes.
Morgan Shanahan, The 818
Morgan Shanahan is a digital storyteller who narrowly escaped Hollywood for the Internet. She owns and operates the popular Southern California Lifestyle Site The818.com, recently named a top ten parenting blog of 2013 by Disney Interactive. Morgan was on the founding editorial team at Cargoh.com and worked as BlogHer's Entertainment Editor for several years before leaving to focus on writing full time. Currently, Morgan lives in Los Angeles' San Fernando with her husband, daughter, and three flatulent dogs.
Kathryn Storke Grady, Snippet & Ink
Kathryn Storke Grady is the founder and editor of Snippet & Ink, a wedding blog that marries two of her favorite things: love stories and pretty parties. She is known for her keen editorial eye, her inspiration boards, and her chocolate chip cookies. She lives near San Francisco with her handsome husband, her beautiful baby, and a sassy kitty cat named Lady Bird.
Susan & William Brinson,
House of Brinson
Susan and William Brinson craft and curate the blog House of Brinson a creative partnership on lifestyle and style in their everyday lives. Susan is a stylist, art director and designer and William is a commercial photographer with clients like The New York Times Magazine, Real Simple and House Beautiful. They blog about renovating a Greek Revival home, food, entertaining and design.
Laurie Smithwick, LEAP Design
Laurie is a design addict, collector of things, french-fry lover, cilantro hater, maker, chef, mom of twins, happy wife, and loyal friend. By day, she’s an award-winning graphic designer who founded LEAP Design in 1998. She studied at Parsons, and honed her skills in the music industry, where her work was nominated for a Grammy for package design. Laurie’s a co-founder of Kirtsy and writes about design at UpsideUp. She lives in Charlotte with her one husband, two daughters, and three cats.
Eva Jorgensen, Sycamore Street Press
Eva Jorgensen founded the paper company Sycamore Street Press and its accompanying blog, Creating a Hand Drawn Life, in 2007. She has a BFA and MFA in fine art printmaking, and loves turning her drawings and lettering into beautiful products. Her work has been carried in Anthropologie, West Elm, Paper Source, Urban Outfitters, and hundreds of boutiques around the world. She lives and works in Utah with her husband, Kirk, and their two small children.
Dana Willard, MADE
Dana Willard authors the popular DIY sewing and design blog MADE and is the host of MADE Everyday--a fresh new sewing show that gives a relatable and simple approach to modern sewing. Her designs have been featured in multiple creative books, magazines, online communities, and in award circles. Her book Fabrics A to Z is essential for any sewist new and old. Dana lives in the hot city of Austin, TX with her husband and three kids.
Merrilee Liddiard, Mer Mag Blog
Artist, toy maker and kids craft blogger, Merrilee Liddiard is the founder of Mer Mag Blog. Her happy place involves her three little children, a cardboard box and a roll of duct tape. Merrilee has been voted best for kids by Babble two years in a row, and has worked for GAP Kids, Parent & Child, Family Fun, Babiekins, La Petit, and more. Her first children’s lifestyle and craft DIY book, PLAYFUL comes out in the fall.
Nole Garey, Oh So Beautiful Paper
Nole Garey is the founder and editor of Oh So Beautiful Paper, a popular design and lifestyle blog celebrating stationery as part of a beautiful life. Launched in 2008, Oh So Beautiful Paper serves as an inspiration resource for wedding invitations, party ideas, cocktail recipes and everything in between! Nole previously worked in international diplomacy for the U.S. Department of State. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and daughter.
Mara & Danny Kofoed, A Blog About Love
Mara and Danny are co-authors of A Blog About Love, and currently live in Brooklyn, NY (though they are moving abroad for adventure in Ecuador this year). They write about love, marriage, trials, divorce, infertility, self-worth, and how to find joy and meaning in life through all the ups and downs we all experience. The answer of course is – living a life motivated by Love.

Hailey is found with a camera in her right hand, and her british husband on her left. Sharing a passion for videography, their business Haugen Creative, has taken them to over 10 countries in the year 2013. Battling huge amounts of jet-lag, Hailey has been kept alive by the sights of her favorite countries: Bora Bora, Norway & Japan. Hailey always finds time to play, and allows others to follow along her worldwide adventures through her blog Something Devine.

Joy Uyeno is the founder of Frock Files, a blog about finding the simplest route to a beautiful life. She features easy but impressive recipes and crafts, and writes small actions that make for big happiness boosters. She hails from Honolulu but now lives in Massachusetts with her husband and their mischievous Corgi puppy.

Jaime Morrison Curtis is co-founder of Pretty Prudent, the premier design and lifestyle blog providing inspiration and instruction to help anyone create beautiful things, food, and experiences for their friends, family, and home since 2009, as well as author of two top-selling books for women, Prudent Advice (Andrews McMeel, 2010) and My Prudent Advice (Chronicle, 2012) Jaime and partner-in-crime, Jacinda, are currently hard at work wrapping up the manuscript for their first book together, the DIY and home-décor opus for families entitled Pretty Prudent Home.
Jill Nystul, One Good Thing by Jillee
Jill Nystul is the creative force behind the blog One Good Thing by Jillee. She launched OGT in 2011 on a simple premise – to sort through the clutter of life and share one good thing with her readers each day. Millions of people now look to “Jillee” each month for tips on living a more frugal and healthy life. A book about her life and blog will be available through Putnam Books in November 2014. Jill and her husband have 4 children and live just outside of Park City, Utah.
Amy Locurto, Living Locurto
Amy Locurto is a graphic designer who closed her design business of 15 years to share DIY party ideas, crafts and family stories on her lifestyle blog Living Locurto. She is co-founder of the photography blog I Heart Faces and the I Heart Faces Photography Conference for Women. Her signature line includes fun paper products for parties. Amy has worked with many national brands such as Universal Studios, Disney and Parents Magazine. She lives in Dallas.

Crafting and blogging are the name of the game for Brittany Jepsen who runs the blog, The House that Lars Built. She loves to show how to make beautiful things (especially paper flowers!) and sells some of her creations on her Etsy shop. Brittany's work has been featured on The Today Show, Vogue.com, CNN, Mollie Makes, Living Etc., Martha Stewart.com and some of her favorite blogs like design*sponge, Oh Happy Day, and The Everygirl.
Celina Baily, Petit a Petit and Family
Celina is a children's wear designer turned blogger. You can find her talking about kids design on Petit a Petit and Family. She also contributes regularly to Handmade Charlotte, Babycinno, and The Sewing Rabbit. She has worked for La Petite Magazine and is currently working on launching her first online magazine Stylo. She likes to call Paris her second home and currently lives in Montreal, Quebec with her loving husband and two amazing kids.
Kristen Howerton, Rage Against the Minivan
Kristen Howerton is a marriage and family therapist and professor of psychology at Vanguard University. Kristen is the author of the blog Rage Against the Minivan, where she explores issues of identity, race, adoption, parenting, and the sometimes embarrassing indignities of motherhood. In addition to her own blog, Kristen is the editor of ShePosts, an online magazine dedicated to women in social media. She is also a regular contributor to Disney’s parenting site Babble, as well as to Huffington Post and OC Family Magazine.

Laura Harrison Mayes is an Emmy-winning writer, and a co-founder of the Mom 2.0 Summit, Mom 2.0 Experiences, Camp Mighty, Go Mighty, Kirtsy and Harrison Mayes Media. Over the last few years, she has created, developed and produced a variety of events and programs for women in media including industry conferences, brand events, travel programs, book and product launches, national art exhibits, and nationwide programs to educate and connect women in media. Laura also created and edited the Kirtsy book, Kirtsy Takes a Bow: A Celebration of Women’s Online Favorites and continues to write for a variety of blogs and publications, including her personal blog, Blog con Queso.
Khristian A. Howell is a color and pattern expert. She plays with ideas of hard and soft, light and dark, feminine and masculine to create depth and interest in her designs. It is this push + pull that creates ease and balance in her work. Her work has been featured in ELLE DECOR, Real Simple, and HGTV Magazine. She contributes frequently to Better Homes and Gardens and clients include 3M, Shaw Flooring, and Blend Fabrics.
Alix Tyler, Modern Kiddo
Alix Tyler is the co-editor of Modern Kiddo, an award-winning blog dedicated to vintage design and the wonderful nostalgia of childhood. She is also a San Francisco-based advertising Creative Director who has worked on brands such as Target, HP and Frito-Lay and with folks like Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Jay-Z and Snoop Dog. She lives in Oakland, California with her husband Greg, her son Wolfie and their giant dog Sam.
Camille Styles is the founder and creative director of popular lifestyle blog camillestyles.com, where she shares the creative entertaining ideas that inspire her parties and her life. Camille is also a regular lifestyle contributor to numerous media outlets, and does styling work for national fashion and lifestyle brands. Her modern aesthetic and eye for detail come together to create parties that are simply chic and all about fun.

Timothy Dahl is a seasoned digital publisher and entrepreneur who has worked at This Old House, ELLE DECOR and Woman’s Day and been published in Wired and Popular Mechanics. He’s the founder of the home improvement site Charles & Hudson and webby-nominated Built by Kids and is currently launching a visual Q&A site called Food and Home and hair startup PYXIE. Timothy lives in LA with his wife and son and enjoys going for a surf or paddle any day of the week.

A passionate entrepreneur and food lover, Emily founded and sold one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Food Companies, Foodzie.com where she discovered the best products from small foodcrafters. Emily's been named Inc Magazine's Top 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs and Food & Wine Magazine's 40 Big Food Thinkers Under 40. She founded Foodzie with her husband and now they're starting something new. She's currently building Forage with a mission to help more people cook.
